Canarias Crea Berlín is a showcase of electronic music, visual art and contemporary dance from the Canary islands. The main goal of the festival is to shorten the distance that separates this artists from the main electronic scenes in the world. This event organized by Canary Islands artists Luis Ortiz and Amanda Lopez have been consolidated on its second edition with two succesfull events that took place on july 16 and 17 at Berghain and Watergate in Berlin, capital of germany and capital of electronic music nowadays. The meeting with artists from Canary islands and Berlin was the new adition to the 2008 edition and It was accepted with lots of sucess due to the great attendance of profesionals, general public and specially thanks to the magnificent performances of all audio and video artists.
Canarias Crea Berlin will present this meeting at MACC festival that will take place at the Auditorium of Santa Cruz de Tenerife from april 23 untill april 25 in the Canary Islands to start a series of interactions between artists from Canary Islands and artists with a relevant scene were we pretend to keep increasing the art disciplines and foment other activities than the solo performances like workshops, speech and more close cooperation’s between these artists.
